The distances the parties must drive to surrender and
return children are important facts to consider when
a court establishes or reviews a possession orders.
Although Justice McClure did not use the phrase
"judicial notice," in fact, the court took judicial
notice of the distances involved, relying on
mapquest.com. See footnote 4. In re:
B.A.W., No. 08-07-00204-CV (Tex. App. - El Paso
Nov. 24, 2009).
